Spring Forward

The winter of 2008-2009 is almost history

Spring is about to spring

Our LBCs are ready for us; the last of the winter projects close to completion

The view out Nigel's window.
I did not get any more outside pix. Anybody else? Send them in; my e-mail addy is at the bottom of this page!

Roger manning the club table.
The main hall was not ready for the show so out buildings were used to house the inside vendors. While the buildings were sheltered from the wind Roger had a door across from him which seemingly blew cold arctic air from Baffin Island directly on him whenever anybody went through it.

Would any other President be strong enough for this job.

I say no one is tougher than Roger! Three Cheers for Roger!

We're on the road, having traveled from Harbor Beach Michigan to Minneapolis Minnesota for a reunion. No British car connection here - just the joy of driving "BriGiT", our '73 MGB/GT.

The first picture is "BriGiT" on the north shore of Lake Michigan taken on the Michigan Upper Peninsula near St Ignace, Michigan.

The second was taken in Stillwater Minnesota, "BriGiT" is parked in front of a house that once belonged to my uncle. I visited this house just about every Sunday afternoon in all the years of my youth. Back then, the driveway was gravel and in the yard to the far right were the many old cars in dubious condition belonging to my cousins. These cars were very old even fifty years ago. None of them British back then, but 'twas here that my automotive interests were first nurtured.

It was an early spring ferry run to get Roger's BGT back home from Dave and Elva's Barn.

John-Peter Smit

Ms. Triss is all reassembled and ready for summer; she was first on this site back in October. This restoration has been 15 years in the making.
