Rockton British Car Flea Market

This time of year can be dodgy for driving our cars. For the better part of the week, this Sunday was forecast to be cloudy, cold, and wet. Magically, Saturday, the forcast turned into partly cloudy. Real life imitated this art and the day actually turned out great.

There were more vendors, good for this fledgling event, a good turn out of cars and people looking for a part, a deal, or a friend to see.

I arrived just about 12;30 in the afternoon after seeing British cars driving away on Cooper Rd. (Old Hwy 52) and Kirkwall Rd. When I arrived I found out why, the place was starting to close up. Al was packing up a Mini and then loading his stuff back onto his truck. I met John as he was driving out and Roger and crew as they were packing up club table stuff into his car. I had a message that Kirk Dickson saw me but dissappeared.

Thankfully Jim and Daniel Colburne arrived or I would have no one to talk to!

Note to self: be there early next year!

Thanks to John Griffith, and Gerry Hancock, for their pictures.
