Bruce/Grey Matters

We in the great white north are as glad as the rest of the nation to be out of winter. We have been running our regular monthly gatherings at Williamsford Mill beside the cozy wood fire while our cars hibernate patiently waiting for spring.

We have already had a tour in May which ran up to Ted's Range Road Diner. Good turnout of people although I had hoped to see more cars come along. Ted's is about as out of bounds a diner as you will find. The quanset hut sits on a hill surrounded by farmland and diners can feast on such delicacies as shrimp, buffalo, elk, venison, ostrich, water buffalo, crocodile and much more. We have one tour planned for each month of spring and summer up to Pumpkinfest in October. Check the list of events in this newsletter or on the BCCOC website for details.

We would really like to see some of you join us for an event. I was recently informed that Paul Plunkett aka Mr. Mini has moved from Meaford to Holland Centre. I don't have any more details at this time but wish the Plunketts well in their new location.

One of my main focuses this summer will be to be more visible at local cars shows in and effort to attract more members. We will also be cooperating again with the Kincardine and Area British Car Club at Bluesfest in July. Remember we have beautiful scenery here and great people.
