Saskatoon Street Fair

We are back to Saskatoon! Mere weeks after Frank French tripped off to Brits On the Bus we have some more pictures, this time from this last Saturday, September 6th. The Broadway Business Improvement District of Saskatoon Sk held its 31st annual Broadway Street Fair.

The event is a one day affair with music, dance, artsy, and craftsy activities, food and cars. Everything a fun fair should be.

Ed Aldred posted some pictures to our Facebook site, and I managed to get some more out of him for here. It wasn't difficult actually. He wanted to give his club, the Saskatchewan British Car Club, some more visibility. I can help with that, I thought.

Below are the pictures Ed has sent in.

Enjoy!

This old Mack is Saskatoon`s first fire engine is apparently the only one left of its kind in existence. It is maintained by the city fire departments.

This MGA has over 380000 miles on it and was a daily driver 365 days a year for 22 years by its current owner before he recently restored it.

this MGA is a fresh restore but regularly driven.
It is hard to see in the picture but it has a phenomenal pearl white paint.
