From Funfair To Street

This is a bit different for here, but it is fits the eccentricities found in Britain. 69-year-old Tom Evans, retired head of Thomas Evans & Sons Funfair, found and lusted over the street legal dodgem (bumper) car he found on Ebay in the Summer of 2013. In a few days the listing disappeared.

Little did he know his wife and son had secretly bought the little car, presenting it to him as a Christmas gift.

It was in need of some work to get it back on the road. It had a handbrake but no footbrake, and the electrics and motor needed some work. Some months and about £700 later all work was completed and Tom hit the roads around his home in Glasgow Scotland.

It attracts people. The car attracted the cops on within five minutes of its first outing. Tom now keeps all of his registration papers on hand whenever he is out on the road. Sorry no pictures of that, but I do have a video grab of children.
