Warmer than the Icelandic Saga, with significantly less mud than the Flying Scotsman, the inaugural run of the Holy Land 1000 took place in Israel at the end of March.

Holy Land 1000

Israelis car lovers had come to participate in tour and competitions events in Europe and the World for decades. They finally got together and worked for three years to bring this event to light.

The 1000 mile, 5 Star, tour began in Tel Aviv running along the Mediterranean Sea to the Lebanese border, crossing to the Golan heights, along the Syrian border, then heading south to the Mediterranean Sea and the Negev Desert, finally turning back north to Jerusalem. See the map for details.
