Mount Forest Kin Club
Downtown Car Show

Take one small town in Southern Ontario, close off the main street (a busy Highway) from 8 AM to 4PM, and they will come! By the hundreds. Out of these hundreds of cars only three were British. To tell you the truth, I was expecting a half dozen. See the 2010, and 2011 reports.

Half of downtown Mount Forest

Tom Clair brought NASTYCAT

One smell of Alcohol fuel, and she will be hooked

Mike J built up this 1948 Anglia Rod

Signing her name for Hospice Wellington

John Burgess did not have to come far in his 1952 MG TD

Prowler and Mini Prowler!

This is the 1956 King Midget owned by my friend Dale Bain. It has been a long term restoration and has been mobile now for just a few weeks.

I included this because it is a neat little car, and to show that not only Brits were, er, eccentric. Claud Dry and Dale Orcutt created a very different King Midget, starting manufacture in 1946. The design was changed to that pictured above, and finally the final model which was built until 1970. It was a very successful company.

Another future car girl!
