This will meeting will be a potluck dinner held at David and Liz Martin's home in Clear Creek, ON. Their home is located at 1369 Lakeshore Road, RR# 1, Clear Creek, ON (see map below).

We will gather at their house between 4:30 and 5:00pm and dinner will be at 5:30. For the potluck portion of this event we are asking that you would bring 1 main course item and either a salad or desert. Coffee, tea and soft drinks will be supplied.

If anyone would like to convoy to there please let me know and we can setup a pleasant afternoon drive along the lake.

Would you please RSVP to me by the end of the day on Friday, Oct 3rd.

Change in Plans for Wed Sept 3rd Meeting!

It is now Thurs Sept 4th, 6:00 PM at the Steve Plunkett Estate

We as a club have been invited to participate and will be the feature club of the evening. I would like to have as many British cars come, as this will be a great place for us to showcase our club. I believe that they will gather us up as we go in and then we will parade into the grounds. Weather permitting this should be a great event. I have been told that this event typically drawings around 200 cars. There is no fee it is all by donation.

If you could, could you please let me know if you are planning on attending, so that I can give them a rough idea of how many cars to expect? More information on this event can be found on their web site http://www.countrycruizin.com/

If anyone from the K/W or north of London areas would like to convoy to the event please let me know and we can arrange when and where to meet.

Southwestenders Tour to R & M shop in Chatham

The Southwestenders, with the Westenders, had a great day out planned by Andrew McClean. A tour from Kitchener to London to Chatham to visit R & M Restoration shop, a well worthwhile visit. A group of 9 cars traveled in convoy through scenic southern Ontario countryside to Chatham for this visit.

There were a variety of classic cars in convoy, two Minis, A40 Farina, Ford Anglia, MGB GT, Stag, Intermechanica and an XJS Jag., quite a sight streaming along the country roads.

R & M have some fascinating cars in there being restored and a lot of money being spent on them.
